LG NITRO HD: The Smart Phone

Finally LG tries to get into the league of smart phones with its LG Nitro. Personally I feel Nitro is a winner in all terms and if marketed properly, it can win over Samsung’s Galaxy series. It has one upper hand over the Galaxy S II, considering the price of around $250.

The Nitro is an HD device so no details are required to confirm that it has around 720 pixel display which is awesome for a mobile phone.

The specifications are listed below:

CPU
1.5GHz dual core processor
RAM
1G
Internal Storage
4 GB
External Supported Memory
32 GB (16 GB memory card is included)
Camera
8 Megapixel
OS
Android 2.3 Gingerbird
Supported Networks
2G, 3G, 4G

As the specifications suggest, Nitro HD is a highly equipped phone which can be there for the next 2 years at least. It supports high speed connectivity over the 3G as well as the quickly evolving 4G networks.

The memory capacity is truly unmatched. A phone with an internal storage of 4 GB is truly a fighter. With the included 16 GB card, you need not look for any other memory device.

The 8 MP camera supports HD recording. And the LED flash lights are good enough to click pictures in darkness.

With all the hardware capabilities, Nitro has the superior OS support of Android version 2.3.

LG Nitro HD, though launched late, has all the capabilities to replace the smart phones around.
Let us look forward to more by LG.
