2011’s Most Successful Mobile Stories

2011 has come to an end and it’s time to talk about all the wonderful things that happened to technology this year. I have been talking a lot about tablets, mobiles and PCs. Let me give myself a little break and talk something about the stories which happened to be the biggest of all this year and made to the headlines for a number of days.

Remembering the iPhone 5 youtube video

The most interesting of all the tech videos I went through this year. And this made to the headlines and also listed in Google’s Zeitgeist for 2011. Just think of it, the newsmaker was something which probably Apple might have never planned for! A hearty laughter before we move ahead. But don’t forget that though no iPhone 5 was planned, Apple introduced a lot to us with iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S. Hope Steve Jobs might be having a ball with lots of apples around in heaven.

The Tablets All Around

Were you too surrounded by them? Because I was! And let me tell you every time I heard of something new, it was a new tablet. It started with iPad and then the Android made a fish market of all. That wasn’t sarcastic as it happens to be reality. Get a tablet as cheap as $99 now! Lots of reviews and lots of ads made the tablets feature in the good, bad and ugly criterion.

Merger of AT&T and T-Mobile

This is the recent one and probably we will keep on hearing about this for a few more days to come. The trade pundits are busy getting disgusted about this and the users are getting fond of having only one company answerable to all their queries.

Android’s Ownership

The latest numbers suggest that android is configuring around 700,000 devices every day. This is a seriously big achievement. I personally have seen, rather touched Android evolving from version 2.1 to 4.0 within the year. Kudos to Android!

Merry Christmas guys and keep watching GG for more news because technology is the most volatile of all the things we are surrounded with.
And before ending, would like to mention: Steve we really miss you and that’s why we keep on talking about technology. I hope technology had a synonym as Steve Jobs.
